You will see the magnificent and remarkable city fortifications - old citadel on the hill above the city built in the middle of the 19th century by the Austrian troops. It is very well preserved and includes the huge central fortified barracks with some unique defensive elements and the Maximilian towers - the forts around them. In different times it was used as a stronghold and barracks, prison and concentration camp. You will see these beautiful constructions, hear it's interesting and dramatic history.
